About the role

Senior Pool Service Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Pool Service Technician to join our growing team.

This is a senior-level role suited to someone with extensive experience in pool systems, plumbing, diagnostics, repairs, and concrete pool operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the service department, mentoring technicians, and delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pool industry

  • Strong background in plumbing and hydraulic systems

  • Extensive knowledge of concrete pools and pool construction

  • Strong understanding of pool filtration systems and equipment

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex pool and equipment issues

  • Full driver’s licence

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Diagnose and repair pool system faults and equipment failures

  • Install, repair, and maintain:

    • Pumps

    • Filters

    • Chlorinators

    • Heaters

    • Automated systems

    • Pipework and valves

  • Carry out plumbing and hydraulic repairs

  • Troubleshoot water quality and circulation issues

  • Work on concrete pools including understanding of:

    • Structural components

    • Plumbing layouts

    • Filtration design

    • Water balancing

  • Complete service jobs efficiently and to a high standard

  • Support and mentor junior technicians

  • Provide technical advice and problem-solving support to the team

  • Maintain accurate job notes and communicate clearly with clients

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally

  • Assist with system upgrades and project work where required
