Senior Pool Service Technician
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Pool Service Technician to join our growing team.
This is a senior-level role suited to someone with extensive experience in pool systems, plumbing, diagnostics, repairs, and concrete pool operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the service department, mentoring technicians, and delivering high-quality workmanship and customer service.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in the pool industry
Strong background in plumbing and hydraulic systems
Extensive knowledge of concrete pools and pool construction
Strong understanding of pool filtration systems and equipment
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex pool and equipment issues
Full driver’s licence
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage jobs efficiently
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Diagnose and repair pool system faults and equipment failures
Install, repair, and maintain:
Pumps
Filters
Chlorinators
Heaters
Automated systems
Pipework and valves
Carry out plumbing and hydraulic repairs
Troubleshoot water quality and circulation issues
Work on concrete pools including understanding of:
Structural components
Plumbing layouts
Filtration design
Water balancing
Complete service jobs efficiently and to a high standard
Support and mentor junior technicians
Provide technical advice and problem-solving support to the team
Maintain accurate job notes and communicate clearly with clients
Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
Assist with system upgrades and project work where required
