The connections started before the Trade Expo doors even opened, with the All-Industry Welcome Event on the Eastern Terrace bringing exhibitors, attendees and industry colleagues together for drinks, conversation and the chance to reconnect ahead of two busy days on the show floor.
Once the Trade Expo opened, the energy continued. With 130 exhibitors filling the Trade Expo floor, attendees had a world of opportunity to catch up with suppliers, discover new products and technology, talk business and build new relationships with people from across the industry.
The WAVES Breakfast provided an important opportunity to connect, bringing the industry together to start the day with conversation, learning and inspiration. The session encouraged attendees to own their voices, communicate with greater confidence, and feel empowered to speak up and make an impact in their workplaces and the wider industry.
The Master Pool Builders Forum continued the conversation, providing a dedicated opportunity for pool builders to come together, share experiences and discuss the issues, opportunities and challenges facing the sector.
Together, these events added another dimension to SPLASH! 2026, creating spaces away from the busy Trade Expo floor where people could connect, learn from one another and build stronger relationships across the industry.
Education was a major part of SPLASH! 2026, with learning opportunities running alongside the Trade Expo across both days.
The SPLASH! Master Classes covered Water Chemistry & Diagnostics, Pool System Performance: Hydraulics & Automation, and Business Growth Through Excellent Customer Experience. The Seminar Stage added an extensive lineup of industry sessions covering standards, regulations, health and safety, customer communications, AI, business growth, and more.
The program also included the SPASA Contracts Master Class, Pool Safety Inspector Meeting and the launch of the SPASA Guide: Swimming Pool and Spa Sanitisation Standards and Marketing Claims, providing even more opportunities for the industry to share knowledge and stay informed.
And, of course, there was plenty to celebrate. The 2026 SPASA Australasian Awards of Excellence brought the industry together for one of the biggest nights on the calendar, recognising outstanding achievements from across the pool and spa industry.

After two packed days of the Trade Expo, the week finished with the SPLASH! Golf Day at Palmers Gold Coast Golf Course, including an afternoon on the course followed by post-game drinks and dinner, a fitting way to round out a huge week.
